Josefina Question

On a recent eBay auction for Josefina's Nighttime Necessities, someone asked the seller was the bottom of the basin white? Does anyone know why? Did they change the basin?

I just received the Nighttime Necessities in July from AGP and compared my basin to the picture on the website. Mine looks pretty much like the one on the site except the one on the site looks like it has more blue and less white showing. The outermost pattern around the rim looks different, too, now that I really look at it closely.

It could be just the way the picture appears on my monitor, I was just wondering if there had been a change. Meg's and Dan's sites do not mention any changes to the basin.

I don't know for sure about the basin, but Josefina first appeared in the Holiday 97 catalog, and her basin then was painted on the bottom of the inside. In the picture from the auction it did look like the bottom of the basin was white, but I couldn't find any in my old catalogs that were like that. Maybe the white in the picture is just glare, and the seller understood the question to mean the actual bottom of the basin, not the bottom of the inside.
